correct. Boruto couldn't defeat Deepa. Mitsuki's sage mode chakra def played a massive massive part in the last rasengan breaking Deepa's armor. Im ok with that, it tilts me when writers get lazy and just use plot armor in these situations, Im glad they took a more realistic approach. I would've been mad if it was "*Boruto and Sarada trains a few days for revenge* *Boruto's new plot no jutsu saves the day* It low-key was a bit cringey for me seeing Boruto and Sarada mope about getting their butts beat and making all sorts of excuses to cover up the notion that they really just wanted to redeem their pride and get revenge on Deepa for the ass beating he gave them.

I really don't like how effective the compressed rasengan was, it doesn't make any sense to me, but I did like the sage chakra and sarada chakra addition.

These guys were apparently the outsiders of the Kara inners, this fact makes me think that from this event, we now hit a new dead-end against Kara.

Sarada understandably unlocked 2 tomoe sharingan, it only makes sense. Team 7 should not stop their training!!! Also Sarada may be able to learn Chidori now, however also possible Sasuke may donut-making ability block her and still have her focus on other things.
